Well construction design service
The service is engaged in drafting technical designs for construction of vertical, directional and horizontal wells for various purposes: prospecting, exploration, production, injection, appraisal, parametric and others. Depths of designed wells vary from 500 to 6000 meters.
The technical design reflects:
- geological characteristics of the field;
- well drilling techniques and technology;
- environmental protection measures.
The geological part of the well construction project includes stratigraphic dissection of the section, lithological characteristics and physical and mechanical properties of the rocks expected to be drilled, oil and gas content and water bearing capacity of the area, thermobaric conditions in the section, possible complications in the section during drilling, design research works (coring, cuttings, geophysical studies, sampling during drilling and in the production string, etc.).
The technical and technological part of the project includes calculations of design wells, drill and casing strings, calculations on selection of type and parameters of drilling mud and wellbore cementing, hydraulic calculations, as well as calculations of well construction duration, etc.
The environmental part of the project deals with environmental protection during well construction.
